Article Abstract:

Automobile engines used in Formula 1 and CART races differ from each other in a lot of ways. The Formula 1 places a 3.0-liter displacement limit on the engines while CART V-8s are mildly turboed to give a 260 cc displacement. Variations are also eminent in the engine blocks, heads and pistons.

A series hybrid is a car with one kind of motor producing the core energy and the other providing power to the wheels. Chrysler Corp head of engineering Francois Castaing maintains that this design permits capturing energy that would otherwise be lost.

Article Abstract:

Mercedes Benz's Active Body Control (ABC) system effectively provides an independent spring rate at each corner of the car, and thus, providing real-time adjustability. The ABC system also controls high-frequency disturbances experienced by the car.
