Alessandro Zanardi, the winner of the Laguna Seca round of the 1996 CART championship, extremely talented, humorous, had a fantastic spell till he lost both his legs in a terrible accident at Lausitzring, Germany in September 2001. He now drives BMW for the works Team Italy- Spain with his artificial legs and he discusses about his power of positive thinking and winning attitude, which keeps him going despite the fatal accident.

Formula 1 represents the pinnacle of racing car-design as they have traction control and engines that turn 19,000 rpm. Further the organizations select to reduce speeds, as both NASCAR and the IRL have done in order to make the racing closer and safer.
