The well-proportioned Nissan Altima is slightly larger than the Stanza, which it replaces. The twincam four-cylinder engine gets a little rough at peak torque, but it does allow the Altima to reach 60 mph in 8.1 seconds. The brakes, vision and headroom are all impressive. List price is $16,500.

Nissan has reintroduced a 200SX model for 1995, with an estimated price range of $15,000-$16,000. The 200SX, which in effect replaces the 2-door Sentra SE-R, features a 4-cylinder engine that produces 140 bhp and comes with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission option.
