A comparison of the cars and racing experiences of former NASCAR champion Ned Jarrett and his son, Dale, who races currently, illustrates the changes in stock car racing over the years. Today's racers have more safety equipment and more cars at their disposal.

NASCAR tracks move into the next century

Article Abstract:

Bruton Smith and Bob Bahre purchased the North Wilkesboro Speedway and will move its two NASCAR Winston Cup automobile races to newer venues. One race will go to the Texas International Raceway and the other to the New Hampshire International Speedway.
