Four top-of-the-line 1999 minivans were evaluated and compared for their performance and features. The vans were tested on a road trip, and the $26,715 Honda Odyssey EX received the best rating. The $32,170 Ford Windstar SEL received the worst rating of the four tested. The Dodge Grand Caravan ES was priced at $30,730 and the Pontiac Montana was priced at $28,935.

Long-term Ford Windstar GL

Article Abstract:

A 35,000-mile test of a Ford Windstar GL revealed that the minivan provided a comfortable ride and plenty of room. Some of the vehicle's disadvantages were excessive wind noise and poor acceleration. The base price is $19,780.
