Toyota has launched its newest model, the new Toyota Century, which is considered as Japan's first production V-12 powered car. The model's features include a type 1GZ-FE engine which complements an electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission, anti-braking system and six airbags.

Lev Shogourov of Russia once headed an attempt by that country to enter Formula One racing. Shogourov worked at the Moskvitch plant in Moscow and led a team of engineers and designers that manufactured a racing car, but the project failed by the end of 1965.
