Driving a Dodge Viper from Milan, Italy, to Monte Carlo, Monaco, proved to be an interesting and exciting trip as the Viper reached 155 mph on the autostrada and easily negotiated alpine passes. The car also provided impressive passing power and braking ability.

Alois Ruf adapted a Porsche Electronic Clutch System (EKS) to a turbocharged BR2. The clutch pedal was removed and a gearshift with a sensor to signal the electronic control unit was installed. A test drive revealed both advantages and disadvantages to the EKS.

A revised 911 Turbo has been introduced by Porsche. The new model has a 3.6-liter engine, producing 360 horsepower. The gears are basically unchanged. However, the springs are stiffer and the brakes are improved.
