The Cayman is the latest in a long line of mid-engine Porsches that began with Porsche No. 1, the well-known roadster built in Gmund in 1948. The new Cayman is the third road-legal mid-engine production car by Porsche and technically it is essentially an elegant and aerodynamically very efficient coupe-bodied Boxster with more luxurious appointments and a more powerful and more sophisticated engine and its the best driver's car among affordable Porsches.

Article Abstract:

Porsche has introduced its new Cayman S, a 2-passenger coupe that shares its mechanical layout and body structure with the Boxster family. The Cayman S's powertrain is basically the same as the Boxster S's, the most significant difference is the water-cooled flat-6 engine's capacity that is increased to 3.4 liters by a way of 3-mm larger cylinder bore.

2005 BMW 1 Series

Article Abstract:

The latest BMW 1 Series has rear-wheel drive and the layout reduces the interior space, but it is fun to drive and is rated very high in Europe. The other features include four 4-cylinder engines with 113-bhp, 1.6-bhp and 148-bhp, 2-litre gasoline engines and two 2-litre turbodiesels with 120 and 160 bhp, and all the components are aluminium.
