Mercedes Benz's new entry-level sedan, the C-Class C350, has high-horsepower variant along with a powerful 3.5-liter V-6 engine, two slick-shifting transmission and generates 268bhp and 258lb-ft of torque from 2400-500rpm. C350 has an added performance and fuel economy that does not cost more and its price is expected to be the same as a comparably equipped C320.

Rocking the establishment: Two Japanese challengers take on Europe's sports-sedan benchmark

Article Abstract:

The Japanese, 2006 Lexus GS 430 and 2006 Infiniti M45 Sport are the two V-8 powered cars that are compared with the European, 2004 BMW 545i in regards to its specifications and performance. The results show that the 2006 Infiniti M45 sport stood first followed by the 2004 BMW 545i and 2006 Lexus GS 430.

Elise: Featherweight flyer

Lotus has come up with its latest model, Elise, a lightweight sportscar. In Lotus guise, the engine tweaks are good for 190 bhp at 7800 rpm and 138 lb.-ft of torque at 6800 rpm, impressive top speed arriving at around 150 mph and is priced at $ 2480.
