A 1992 Mazda RX-7 has been tested for 8,792 miles. The car's design is striking and the handling is superb. However, the ride quality is poor, the interior space seems cramped and there is very little room in the trunk. There have been a few maintenance problems as well.

The Mazda RX-7, after 21,573 miles of driving continues to perform admirably. However, there have been repairs and minor problems, the most annoying of which is a door that refuses to shut unless it is slammed hard. The average miles-per-gallon rating is 17.0.

The 1993 Mazda RX-7 was test driven for 33,329 miles. The car's handling was superb, however the interior was cramped and there was very little cargo space. There were warranty-covered maintenance and repair trips to the dealer, and the average mpg was 17.5.
