Mercedes and other German car manufacturers are selling their products at lower prices in the US than in the German market, a practice that could be considered dumping. However, the US auto market is the largest in the world, and there is little danger that one company can bankrupt its competitors.

The Lincoln Town Car has a keyless-entry locking system that can be troublesome, as it re-locks the doors whenever a driver or passenger leaves. Such a locking system reflects the manufacturer's concern for discouraging thieves and protecting drivers.
