The electronically controlled Torque-on-Demand 4-wheel drive system senses changes in road conditions and potential wheelspin. Drawbacks include the 3-door design that makes getting in and out of the back seat difficult, and limited hauling space. The ride and handling are outstanding for an SUV. Manual transmission is not available.
