Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg: The IRL goes road racing
Article Abstract:
The Indy Racing League had its first street race at St. Petersburg, on Florida's Gulf Coast, which was a high-energy, big-time event embraced by the community. Dan Wheldon, Tony Kanaan, Dario Franchitti, all of the Dallara-Honda drivers stood first, second, third respectively in this Honda Grand Prix, held on 3 April 2005.
