Article Abstract:

In commemoration of its 40th anniversary, Car and Driver magazine decided to use a 1995 Chevy Corvette as its project car. The goal of the project was to refit the engine to allow it reach 200 mph, while still remaining street legal and emission certified. Nearly $60,000 was spent on this project.

A very strange thing has happened to car salesmen

Article Abstract:

A man goes to used car dealers to buy a car for his girlfriend. He was pleasantly surprised that the salespeople left them alone to do their comparison shopping, and was kind enough to drive a car he wanted to test drive up to the door. He eventually settled on a privately owned Acura Integra.

Article Abstract:

A journalist found the spring-loaded six-speed sequential shifter the most challenging aspect of driving the Reynard 961 race car. Steering was amazingly light and delicate, although controlling the car required immense concentration.
