GM gets a kick in the rear

Article Abstract:

General Motors Corp begins what may be a trend back to rear-drive performance cars with the introduction in Jan 1995 of a Buick XP2000 concept car. In addition, the 1997 Cadillac LSE may make use of the Opel Omega platform. These and other plans at General Motors are discussed.

Ford Indigo: a V-12-powered race car - or street car? It's fun. It's fast. It's exciting. Is it real?

Article Abstract:

The race-car-styled Ford Indigo has made it to the prototype stage, and promises to be one of the most radical sports cars ever produced. The sight of the prototype is somewhat mesmerizing, and a drive in the V-12 powered car gives the impression of driving a race car.

Ford Motor Co is in the process of testing an Engelhard Corp radiator catalyst that is designed to transform ground-based ozone into oxygen. The 'Prem-Air' system, which uses a platinum-based mixture to cover the radiator, may cost between $500-$1,000.
