The future of Formula One racing is being decided as a debate rages over the technical advances being made in racing cars. One group wants to put limits on this technology, another wants to continue its unlimited use. Both sides have good points, but drivers should remain free to use their talents.

Formula Ford: the best racing there ever was

The 1967 Lotus 31 Formula Ford which has a 1.5-liter engine, cigar-shaped feature, threaded racing tires and wraparound widescreen, is no longer competitive. Such a car has been regarded as the best racing car before but innovative models of racing cars have already surpassed its performance.
