The 4-speed automatic version of the Ferrari 456 GTA has an efficient electronic transmission-management system. The car handles well and offers a comfortable ride. However, downshifting from 4th gear to 3rd gear is difficult, and the car shifts between gears when the accelerator is lifted.

The Ferrari F50 was created to bring the experience of driving a Formula 1 racing car to the road. Some obvious adaptations had to be made for comfort and convenience, but the F50 does retain the feel of a racing car. The F50 is powered by a V-12 engine that produces 513 bhp.

The Ferrari F355 Spider is an open-air version of the F355 Berlinetta. Although the mechanism for the soft top along with structural reinforcements add some 130 lbs. to its weight, there is little noticeable difference in performance between the Spider and the Berlinetta.
