Italian court decisions on cases involving fatalities at the Formula One races in Italy could undermine its motor sports. These cases involved the deaths of Ayrton Senna, Wolfgang von Trips, Jochen Rindt and Ronnie Peterson. Racing teams also blamed Italy's racing conditions and regulations.
