Studies conducted by National highway traffic safety administration and the insurance institute for highway safety found that electronic stability control system (ESC) helps drivers to control their vehicle, when their vehicle starts to slide. General Motors, Ford and Daimler Chrysler said that they would standardize ESC on their SUV for 2006.
