Article Abstract:

The new Champ Car organization owned by Kevin Kalkhoven, Jerry Forsythe and Paul Gentilozzi recovered with its acquisition of the midsummer Toronto street race from Molson Coors Brewing Co. and is planning the development of the 2007 car. The new 2007 Champ car would be powered by the familiar, traction control-free 2.6-liter Ford/Cosworth XFE turbo V-8 with horsepower bumped increased up to more than 800.
