Automobile performance has been measured by how long it takes to reach speeds of 100 miles per hour, for the last 30 years. As newer cars are capable of going much faster, the yardstick has increased to 150 miles per hour. Includes speed tests of seven stock cars.

The $119,540 348tb has tremendous visual appeal, but driving performance falls short in some areas. Handling can be troublesome, due to steering without power-assist, and the gated shifter feels rough. The V-8 engine offers 300 horsepower.
