A road test performance of 2006 Volkswagen Passat, best-designed car that not only makes the German maker a serious player in the midsize car market, but also sets a new standard for interior designing, is described. Passat comes with 2.0-liter turbocharged direct-injected gasoline 4-cylinder engine that produces 200bhp and 207 lb.-ft. of torque and provides a good leg space for rear-seat passengers.
