The search for extrasolar planets

Article Abstract:

Increasingly powerful ground- and space-based telescopes are being used to search for planetary bodies revolving around other stars in the galaxy. Astronomers have also employed interferometry and doppler shift techniques to searh for astronomical anomalies that may signal the presence of a planet around known stars.
