Terraforming: Human destiny or hubris?

Article Abstract:

Terraforming tirades seem to swirl solely around Mars and the asteroids are much easier to work with. Therefore, Terra's vast mass and complex biosphere will adapt to human-induced alteration in a manner that is ultimately favorable to the entire biosystem, if not for humans.
