Space activism: the third wave

Third-wave space activism refers to the stage in space development wherein the primary goal will be the establishment of a spacefaring civilization. To achieve this stage, governments must be willing to try new approaches and discard these whenever they have been proven ineffective.

Issues concerning the benefits and dangers of using nanotechnology in space settlement are described. Critics of the technology are now seriously reconsidering it.
