Space and county fairs - the fair is not just cows and chickens any more!

Article Abstract:

New Frontier Society (NFS) members are very involved in the Monroe County Fair. Members sit on the Board of Directors and the planning committee of the fair. Space and technology are a part of the fair experience, with over 3,000 sq. ft. of space related displays from NASA and some built by the NFS.

America's new space cathedral

Article Abstract:

A new annex to the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum is opened adjacent to Dulles International airport. The new museum has a vast display space accommodating almost all the aviation and space collection, funding upto $311 million.
