Article Abstract:

University of Arizona scientists have formally signified an intent to furnish two scientific instruments that will travel with SpaceDev's Near Earth Asteroid Prospector mission spacecraft in 2001. The spaceship is expected to rendezvous with the asteroid 4660 Nereus by mid-2002.

A private property standard for space needs to be developed so that investments for the commercial development of space can be realized. Many investors will shy away form the commercial development of space without any clear returns on their investments.
