TRW Space and Technology executive Daniel S. Goldin is the new administrator of NASA. Prior to his appointment, he was involved in projects with bearing on strategic defense, tracking and data relay and earth probes. Goldin's career spans 30 years in the space industry.

NASA budget: keeping the nose cone above troubled waters

Article Abstract:

Pres. Bush has asked Congress for a NASA budget of $14.993 billion for FY 1993. This has required NASA to make difficult choices and establish priorities due to little real growth in space funding for the next years.
