Missing the point: the real reason for space settlement

Article Abstract:

The assertion that man should seek other forms of challenge inplace of space exploration is mistaken in that it is based on the wrong premise. The reason for exploring space should be humanity's expansion beyond Earth, rather than the simple search for new challenges.

Moon-Mars? Later may be too late!

Article Abstract:

The assertion that exploring the Moon and Mars will not yield economic returns is short-sighted. The long term advantages of developing the natural resources of these heavenly bodies far outweigh the short term costs.
