Article Abstract:

Scientists and technicians involved in the Voyager 2 space exploration project recall the events which took place before and during the mission. Although fraught with problems, the Voyager 2 mission was generally considered succesful.

NASA is being criticized for the detrimental effects that its Solid Rocket Boosters may have on the environment. The boosters may deplete the ozone and cause acid rain.
