Article Abstract:

Voters should be aware of their candidates position on space-related issues in light of the coming 1998 off-year elections. Citizens should ask the candidates who voted against the International Space Station why they took that stand when it is against the constituents' interest.

Spacecause letter winner

Article Abstract:

The winner of the 1992 Spacecause letter writing competition has been announced. Adam Gullay of Cleveland Heights, OH, was chosen for his letter to Ohio Rep Louis Stokes. Gullay's letter to Stokes dealt with the need for the US government to support the space station program.
