Executive summary of the NSS position paper on space and molecular nanotechnology

Article Abstract:

The National Space Society believes that the development of molecular nanotechnology will significantly boost man's efforts to colonize space. A discussion of some of the benefits and risks involved in developing the technology is presented.

Article Abstract:

One offbeat approach towards creating a spacefaring civilization is to push for a technological breakthrough that would put space travel within reach of small, nongovernmental entities. Nanotechnology could be that breakthrough.
