Article Abstract:

A scientific advisory committee review of the Biosphere II Project revealed the experiment's lack of an existing science plan. However, the committee declared that the actualization of the project was in itself an achievement. In addition, the application of the committee's recommendations could enhance the importance of the project in biogeochemical and ecological research.

Move over red rover

Article Abstract:

A parade of 16 rover vehicles was sponsored by NASA, the National Air and Space Museum and The Planetary Society last Aug 31, 1992. Two of these rovers designed for robotic exploration of the rugged Martian terrain, will be tested on Mt. Erebus in Antartica.
