An exhibition titled "Streamline Design: The Essence of Speed" is scheduled to be held at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts from September 28, 2007. Some of the displays would include works by industrial designers Norman Bel Geddes, Kem Webber, and Henry Dreyfuss.An exhibition named "San Francisco Psychedelic Posters" would be held from February 10-June 10, 2007 at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. The exhibits would feature concert posters for the late 1960s bands such as the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane.

Raymond Loewy: Designs for a Consumer Culture

Article Abstract:

An exhibition titled "Raymond Loewy: Designs for a Consumer Culture" would be held from January 12-March 4, 2007, at the Price Tower Arts Center, Bartlesville. The exhibits would include 125 works of Raymond Loewy (1893-1986), one of the best industrial designers of the 20th century who modernized common objects and environments such as silverware, fountain pens, cars, airplanes and shopping centers.

Designing Raymond Loewy: Elizabeth Reese remembered

Article Abstract:

Elizabeth Reese was instrumental in the development and naming of many products, and as publicist for Raymond Loewy, the Father of Industrial Design. Reese was responsible for making Raymond Loewy a household name.
