William Forsythe may be one of the 20th century's greatest choreographers. Forsythe began working with the Stuttgart Ballet in his 20s and has continued to work almost exclusively in Europe from then on. His company, the Ballet Frankfurt, will tour the US in Dec 1998. Forsythe's choreographing style combines action and unusual ideas, irreverence and tradition.
