An exhibition of architectural style Miami Modern or MiMo called Promises of Paradise: Staging Mid-Century Miami at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach Exhibition starting from 13 April 2008 has fabrics and furniture to hotels and university campuses belonging to the period 1945 to 1965. The main themes are International Modernism, Regional Modernism and Fantasy Modernism by big names like Morris Lapidus, Alfred Browning Parker, and George Farkas among others.

Article Abstract:

Architect Vann Molyvann, changed the face of Phnom Penh with the buildings he designed between 1953 and 1970, the best examples of modernist architecture in Asia. Molyvann's most important architectural contributions to Cambodia are the National Sports Complex, the Independent Monument shaped like a lotus bud, the Chaktomuk Conference Hall in the shape of the fan palm and the National Theater.
