Henry Klumb: Tropical tropes

Article Abstract:

German architect Henry Klumb's influence on Puerto Rico's regional architecture bears throughout the tropics. Henry Klumb, who was invited to the island to lead the governor's design committee, later founded The Office of Henry Klumb and designed the University of Puerto Rico's new Faculty Residences and Faculty Recreation Club, a borough of San Juan and as part of his University Master Development Plan, he designed some heritage structures.
