Article Abstract:
Alice Helpern's 'The Technique of Martha Graham' published by Morgan and Morgan offers readers a capsule history of the evolution of the legendary dancer's techniques. A strong point of Helpern's work is her observation that Graham's technique and choreography could not be separated during her early years.
