Galina Ulanova, the Russian ballerina, died in Moscow on Mar 21, 1998. Ulanova studied at Leningrad, where acting was emphasized. Her greatest roles may have been Giselle and Juliet. The only other international dancers of the 20th century who could compare to her work were Anna Pavlova and Marie Taglioni.
