Article Abstract:

Dance and architecture share similar design methodologies and aesthetics, one being deconstructivism. Just as architects produce unusual perspectives through sculpting materials, choreographers create equally unusual perspectives through sculpting dancers' bodies and physical movements. Deconstructivism negotiates the space between the pleasing and the disturbing to expand a viewer's limits of perception.
