The debut performance of Bucharest-born dancer Alina Cojocaru as Nikiya in ABT's La Baydere, that took place at the Metropolitan Opera House in May, with a repeat performance two days later is discussed. Details about her education, her later performances, and her style of ballet are also highlighted, with a personal wish that the American Ballet Theatre would invite her back.
