A little bit of more rehearsing and rearrangement of the program the Stars of the Twenty-first century program at the New York State Theater might be the best performance in the ten-year history of the international gala. Solomon Tencer, Bolshoi Ballerina, Svetlana Lunkina and many other dancers performed in this international gala.

Pacific Northwest Ballet performed an all-Balanchine program in Seattle some days after the presidential election, with the campaign issues and moral values. The evening began with 'The Four Temperaments' program along with 'Prodigal Son' and concluded with a true heartening performance of 'Symphony in C'.
