Benjamin Millepied states that he is lucky to have had training in African and modern dance under his mother before discovering ballet as it has proved to be an additional component for him as a dancer and choreographer. His focus is now on refining every aspect of his dance and find out how to make his dance look more and more effortless and make the positions more beautiful.
