Product tampering: yes, it still happens

Article Abstract:

Officials do not publicize product-tampering cases because they are trying to prevent copycat crimes, but tampering still occurs. People may tamper with products as a prank, to get money or revenge or to commit suicide or murder. Product safety cannot be guaranteed.

Two of Sandy King's four sons were killed in two different violent circumstances. King has since devoted her time trying to make her Charleston, MA, community safer and freer of violence. She has also started a support group for loved ones of murder victims.
