Some pain relief techniques may be more effective than traditional approaches practiced by doctors. The patient controlled analgesia device allows the patient to dispense his own medication. Chronic pain can be relieved without drugs through adjuvant therapies.

Could the woman next door have AIDS?

Article Abstract:

AIDS in women is on the rise, with 13% of AIDS patients now being women. Risk can be minimized by avoiding certain types of sexual partners, using condoms and collecting one's own blood before surgery. Vaccine and treatment research is also discussed.
