Workaholics discuss how their addiction threatened their marriages. There is a California-based 12-step group called Workaholics Anonymous that was used to help one man. Sometimes including the family in a work-related activity helps. Women as well as men can be a family workaholic.

"My life became a TV movie." (movie based on book about giving a child up for adoption)

Article Abstract:

Carol Schaefer's book about giving her son up for adoption was made into a television movie called 'The Other Mother.' Schaefer had the baby at age 19 and gave it up for adoption to comply with her parents' wishes. She began searching for him 18 years later.

Krickitt Carpenter forgot her love for her husband Kim after suffering a head injury in an automobile accident. When she had recovered sufficiently, they began dating again. Krickett fell in love with Kim again and they were married for a second time.
