The 18th century manor, Wildercliff, in the Hudson River Valley was a present from Robert R. Livingston to his sister, Catharine, when she married Methodist minister Freeborn Garretson. Although austere on the outside, the house is stylish inside, reflecting a more prosperous lifestyle.

The Exchange: nestled on eight acres, a gracious Georgian manor edges the bank of Virginia's North River

Article Abstract:

The Exchange is an early 18th century Virginia manor with Georgian details. Built and owned by William Buckner, it was bought and restored by realtors Gordon and Mary Stewart. Its name came from Buckner's descendant Thomas, who traded it with an in-law for a larger house.

Article Abstract:

The Bouwerie is an 18th century house which reflects the neat, simple and striking style of the early Dutch settlers in the Hudson River Valley. The house was bought and restored by Diane O'Neal, art conservator, and her husband Edward.
