The job of a graphic artist involves the amalgamation of the information that the reporters bring and the photographs the photographers take. After the graphics is completed, it goes through routine editing. To incorporate novelty into the information gathering process, every reporter is encouraged to focus on the key aspects of the subject's activity. The graphic is then produced in the subject's own terms.

A cartoonist and graphic designer describes how personal experience can be used as a tool to solve design problems. The techniques include time scheduling, the use of comic strips to emphasize storytelling and allowing personal traits to become part of the design process. By applying different problem-solving techniques used in other areas of life, it will become clear that designing newspapers, comics and web sites have similar solutions.

Robin Sloan and Matt Thompson created a mini documentary, which is a comprehensive and congruous analysis of recent technology developments and current trends of how people use gadgets and Internet to shop, communicate with others and get information and entertainment. EPIC 2014, the first version of this documentary was an immediate success while its revised version, EPIC 2015 is unleashed in early June 2005.
