Tracing family roots to New England

Article Abstract:

Five men sharing an interest in history, genealogy, heraldry and antiquities established the New England Historic Genealogical Society in 1845. Since then, the society has been serving the needs of many Americans who trace their ancestry back to New England, especially with its extensive research library.
