The gardens at Tryon Palace

The gardens of the historic Tryon Palace in New Bern, NC, is described. Landscape architect Morley Jeffers Williams worked on the gardens from 1955 to 1962 as part of the reconstruction undertaken by the Tryon Palace Commission. He based his plans on the style of 18th-century England.
