New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art has used art reproductions from the time it was founded to increase public knowledge and appreciation of the Museum's treasures. Museum shops and mail-order catalogs now offer recreated art work including paintings, sculptures and jewelry.

The lore of the unicorn

Article Abstract:

The origin of the unicorn has remained a mystery until today. A written account about unicorns first appeared around 400 B.C. in the book 'Indica' by Greek historian and physician Ctesias. Unicorns then became a symbol of Jesus Christ to Christians during the Middle Ages.
